Made my first sale and thoughts on new lines

I made my first sale on etsy two nights ago!!  I am very excited about that!  Yes, the person that bought it was someone I knew, but a sales a sale!  She really likes the items she bought and is very excited about them, and she said she’s going to tell everyone where she got them.  So crossing my fingers on more sales to come!

Ok, so I’ve been talking about inspiration the last two blog posts I’ve had.  Inspiration has been a really big topic with me lately since I’m trying to set my store apart from others on etsy.  Sooooo, the newest lines of bibs and rattles that I’ve been inspired to make are Star Wars and Sesame Street.  I’ve already started on the Star Wars ones (and sold one already!).  I’m making bibs of Darth Vader (this is the one I’ve sold), Storm Trooper, R2D2, Yoda, and Chewbacca, along with a Yoda rattle.  For the Sesame Street line I’ve decided to make Elmo, Bert, Ernie, Oscar the Grouch, Cookie Monster, Grover, and Abby Cadabby.  Haven’t decided which of these to try and make into a rattle.
So here is a sneak peak at what I’ve made so far, but haven’t posted on etsy yet.

  2. OMG these bibs are seriously the cutest, coolest, nerdiest (in a positively awesome way) things I've ever seen! Congratulations for your first sale on Etsy too :). Oscar the Grouch or Cookie Monster may make for a nice baby rattle! Good luck on your endeavor!!
